Our Team

idstats was set up in the year 2014 as an insights consultancy by industry veterans from Neilsen, TNS, and Kantar with a focus on decoding explicit and implicit human behaviour by integrating new technologies. The vision was to help our clients make more astute business decisions.
We were amongst the pioneer agencies in Singapore to leverage biometric tools such as eye tracking as early as 2012 and since then, we have deepened our understanding of human behaviour through obtaining expertise in innovative research technologies such as semiotics and digital ethonography, managing communities, design thinking inspired techniques, lego workshops.

Anila Srivastava

Founder & Executive Director

With 20+ years of research experience across global agencies including Nielsen & TNS, Anila continues to be inspired and challenged by the constantly changing paradigms of human behaviour across cultural, economic and social contexts.
She continues to be at the forefront of conquering new frontiers – be it as the first certified Lego Serious Play facilitator in Singapore and one of the pioneers of commercial semiotics in Asia. She is also an integral part of the Market Research Society of Singapore Committee; has authored and presented award-winning papers at many national and international forums.

Navin Williams


Navin Williams is the CEO of MOBILEMEASURE Consultancy Limited. Navin has extensive experience in Market Research, Technology, Media & Telecom sectors; having worked for some of the world’s Market Research leaders across the disciplines of Media, Consumer (IMRB, RI & Nielsen) & Retail (Nielsen). He has held senior roles in four countries, spanning two continents. His quest to drive digital adoption in Market Research led him to found MOBILEMEASURE.
A pioneer in digital delivery of MR, Navin has written a number of whitepapers on Mobile MR, and is widely regarded as a thought-leader in the evolution of this technology in research. A frequent speaker at industry forums and client seminars, Navin is also the author of the definitive “The Handbook of Mobile Market Research”, a book endorsed by ESOMAR and published by Wiley. More recently Navin has been involved in bringing to life a Market Research focused BlockChain ecosystem and is working with a cross section of technologists and research specialists across the globe.

Shekar brings to us his diverse leadership experience in emerging markets of Asia and Africa, in a career spanning over 22 years with Unilever and Kellogg. We have benefitted from his proven track record of building high performance teams, helping us foster an entrepreneurial drive.

Richard Krevolin – Writer & Director

A graduate of Yale with a Master’s degree from UCLA’s School of Cinema-Television, Richard has helped sharpen brand narratives for Nike, Ponds, Lux, Ogilvy etc. He has written and directed the feature film: Making Light in Terezin. He partners script-writing for Universal, Sony-Tri-Star, Paramount and Dreamworks and support the idstats team in developing their story-telling and narrative skills

SATISH BELANI – Executive Director

Satish is a veteran in research and analytics space in India. He has pioneered and contributed to many cutting-edge frameworks for leading global agencies including TCS, Nielsen & Base. A postgraduate and an M.Phil in Physics, Satish has more than 20 years of experience in market research analytics and is an IBM certified professional for SPSS Modeler – and visiting faculty to leading MBA institutes teaching statistics and data analysis.
